TÜV Rheinland Group key account manager for solar & commercial products and services in Europe Antonio Testa, for expressed appreciation for Huawei's R&D investment in energy storage safety and its commitment to providing the safest energy storage products for the industry. Testa analysed the urgency and importance of safety for the energy storage industry from the perspectives of standards and applications, and called on industry peers to take action, pay attention to energy storage safety, continuously invest in enhancing product safety, promote the establishment of energy storage safety classification standards, and open up the path of safety and sustainable growth for the energy storage industry.

Huawei sub-Saharan Africa senior solution architect Herman van Dyk-Fourie elaborated on Huawei's C&I One-Fits-All "Lite, Pro, Max" series solutions. The C&I Lite solution offers flexible selection, easy installation, and higher returns. The C&I Pro solution ensures dual-chain safety and higher round-trip efficiency (RTE). Equipped with the newly released 5-in-1 SmartController, the C&I Pro solution can achieve seamless on/off-grid switching and have more application scenarios. The C&I Max solution features a higher safety level, and leverages leading grid-forming technologies, integrated architecture, and digital platforms to maximise the return on investment (ROI) throughout the lifecycle. Van Dyk-Fourie said that Huawei's C&I One-Fits-All "Lite, Pro, Max" series solutions can be widely applied in sub-Saharan Africa, flexibly solving the localised power shortage problems and reducing electricity costs.

University of Pretoria Associate Professor of the Department of Power Electronics and Computer Engineering Xianming Ye presented the proof of concept test results for the Huawei LUNA2000-215 KWH-S10 hybrid cooling grid forming ESS at an actual operating site in South Africa. The test results prove that the actual RTE is higher than the 91.3% (0.25CP) specified in the product manual, achieving the highest RTE in the industry. The depth of discharge reaches 100%, increasing the lifetime discharge capacity by over 2%. Under the optimal charge and discharge strategy, this solution can save 26.7% of electricity fees for this project in South Africa in winter and 8.3% in summer.

University of Pretoria Associate Professor of the Department of Power Electronics and Computer Engineering Xianming Ye During the event, Huawei officially launched the C&l All Scenarios One-Fits-All Solutions to commemorate truly scalable and flexible solutions for every application.
